A BloGallery of Fractal Images generated by me using Tierazon. If you'd like to use one, please just ask! Either pop a comment on the relevant post, or email me via the link on my profile. Thanks!
this probably won't sound like a compliment but it is.... I WISH I'D NEVER SEEN THESE!You've shown me something I want to try and my To Do list is already too long.
The subject fascinates me, and as you said on your Suzie-Q's blog I am not a mathematician. I like finding examples in nature but now I want to learn to make these! I was a Mac user when I had a program years ago....do you use a PC? I'm off to read your blog and learn more.
Hi Kate! Great to find you here :) Don't wish you'd never seen them, they're such fun, and SO quick to do, honestly! It is pretty addictive, though, so be prepared! (My To-Do list is always too long - just ignore it once in a while! ;))
You won't have found any more info on my other blog, so if I miss anything just email me if there's anything else you need to find out...
I use a PC (always wanted a Mac but not managed to find a cheap enough one yet!). I've put links to the Tierazon programme I use on the top of my sidebar - there's another, UltraFractal, that's supposed to be even better but comes as a free 30 day trial. Worth a try! I'm sure the free downloads give Mac options, too. Just Google for Fractals and a whole new world is out there waiting for you! :D
These are gorgeous Susie, I've always wanted to try fractals too (I don't tell anyone but I'm a bit of a geek when it comes to maths and science and stuff like this!!) but my to do list is locked away for the time being as I have so much going on. I will definately enjoy looking at yours in the meantime though, great stuff!
Thanks, Karen, so glad you found them! It is quite time-consuming, but worth treating yourself to a go, one day! Thanks for having a look, and for your comment. I'll try & get some new ones done soon-ish! ;)
